WHAT WE OFFER
WILLS & TRUSTS
Estate planning is the act of preparing for the transfer of a person's wealth and assets after death. Assets, life insurance, retirement accounts, pensions, real estate, cars, personal belongings, and debts are all part of a person's estate. A properly executed will or well-structured trust ensures that a person's estate is set up for peace of mind now and in the future.
PROBATE
Probate is the legal process of proving a will is valid and thereafter administering the estate of a deceased person according to the terms of the will. It includes dealing with creditors of the deceased and addressing any disputed issues.
ASSET PROTECTION
Asset protection is a type of planning intended to protect a person's assets from creditor claims. Individuals and business entities use asset protection techniques to limit creditors' access to certain valuable assets, while operating within the bounds of debtor-creditor law.
BENEFICIARY DESIGNATION
Some assets pass outside of probate, like retirement accounts. It is important to make sure beneficiaries are designated on these types of assets to make the process as efficient as possible.
BUSINESS LAW AND ENTITY FORMATION
Business law encompasses all of the laws that dictate how to form, run, buy, manage, close or sell any type of business.
GRADUATION PACKETS
Plan for your child's future by creating a graduation packet that includes essential legal documents for their transition into adulthood, such as powers of attorney and healthcare directives.
